The TRAS series are enterprise and carrier-grade 802.11 a/b/g/n outdoor wireless radios, which offers customers an outstanding MIMO-OFDM solution with robust and high performance design in both 2.4GHz and 5GHz proprietary bands. TRAS –2x2 MIMO P-T-P radio supports complete wireless mesh networks with self-healing & self-forming features. It’s not only the wireless mesh junction point, but also may simultaneously support the wireless hotspot covering. That provides the ease and flexible installation and high performance audio/data/video services for the military, public safety, municipal wireless broadband networks. It’s also an excellent solution for mining, transportation, manufacturing and other enterprise applications in harsh outdoor environments.

Radios implement 2x2 MIMO with two spatial streams, providing up to 300 Mbps data rate, and real aggregate TCP throughput 180Mbps for point to point application.

Self-healing & self-forming Mesh Protocol: Automatic configuration and routing enables the mesh networks to be self-forming and self-healing. One or more fixed mesh nodes failed won’t affect the normal operation of the network. Customers can build the reliable networks anywhere in very short time by this intelligent radio.

Mesh Cloud – Multiple Mesh Gateway: TRS2001 supports Multiple Mesh Gateway, customer can use this mesh radio to build a Mesh Cloud with multiple mesh gateway architecture. It not only enhances the reliability but also increases the total aggregate capacity in the whole network.

Secure and efficient client connectivity: The nimble QoS (Quality of Service) configuration provides flexible management of user’s access bandwidth of wireless connectivity. Perfect integrated with central RADIUS server and data encryption (WEP/WPA/WPA2), the TRAS – Fixed Mesh series provides a secure wireless connectivity for each client device.
